Elegance You Can Taste
Pistachio started from a simple conviction: that the everyday things — a cup of coffee, a handful of nuts, a scoop of ice cream — deserve the same care as anything served at a white tablecloth. We built a room in East Legon around that idea.
It started with the nuts
Before there was a café, there was a search for a better pistachio. [FOUNDER NAME] spent [YEAR] going through supplier after supplier across Accra, looking for nuts that tasted the way they were supposed to — sweet, green, freshly roasted rather than sitting in a warehouse.
What began as small batches roasted for family and friends turned into a counter, and the counter turned into a room with coffee, ice cream and pastry alongside it. The name stayed. So did the standard.
Three things we refuse to rush
Sourcing
We buy nuts in quantities we can move quickly, so nothing sits long enough to go flat. Cocoa comes from Ghanaian producers. Fruit is bought fresh, not frozen.
Craft
Roasted, churned and baked on site. The ice cream is made in-house, the pastry is laminated in-house, and the espresso is dialled in every morning before we open.
Hospitality
Nobody is hurried out of a seat. Stay for one coffee or for the whole afternoon — the room was designed for lingering, and we mean it.
A sanctuary of taste and calm.
The ground floor holds the coffee bar, the ice cream counter and the gifting shelves — light, plants, and enough space between tables to hear the person across from you. Upstairs, the rooftop opens at five for shisha and long evenings.
Every corner was chosen for people who notice details. That is who we built it for.
Reserve a TableBehind the counter
Baristas who will tell you what changed in the espresso this morning. Bakers who start before sunrise. A team that knows the regulars by their order.
We hire for curiosity and train the rest. If that sounds like you, we would like to hear from you.
